Cruelty to horse grievance probed by sheriff’s workplace

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace is investigating a grievance of animal cruelty from a Flat Rock girl involving an animal stabling enterprise in Ash Township.

In line with a deputy’s report, the lady moved to the realm with two dozen horses with the intention of shopping for the enterprise. The girl instructed deputies that she needed to name a veterinarian on Tuesday to have her 23-year-old Irish Stallion sport horse that was housed on the enterprise put down as a result of it was severely sick and never getting higher.

She had the horse’s stays left at an indoor area so it might be taken to Michigan State College the following day for a necropsy to find out what triggered its loss of life. She stated she would notify the sheriff’s workplace when outcomes of the medical examination had been identified.
