Santa Rosa police arrest man accused of pointing gun at homeless camp

Santa Rosa police arrested a person Friday morning for allegedly brandishing a pretend firearm.
Officers acquired a number of reviews of a person with a gun close to Stony Level Street and State Route 12 at about 8:40 a.m.
A 28-year-old man was allegedly pointing what regarded like a gun at homeless encampments alongside the Joe Rodota Path and at automobiles within the space.
Officers discovered the suspect on an onramp to State Route 12 at Stony Level Street. He was ordered to drop the gun, which officers decided was a duplicate.
The suspect was taken into custody with out incident, police stated in a press release. He’s going through costs of overtly displaying an imitation firearm in public and drug-related costs. He was booked into Sonoma County Jail.
