Among the many overflowing record of proficient 3-year-olds within the barn of coach Brad Cox is Verifying, the $775,000 Justify colt who’s a half-brother to champion Midnight Bisou.
Verifying gained on debut, then completed second within the Grade 1 Champagne. He completed sixth within the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile after being bumped at first, overwhelmed 12 lengths by presumptive 2-year-old champion Forte.

“He is an exquisite horse, properly balanced,” Cox instructed DRF. “I feel in all probability considered one of his greatest attributes is that he is sort of straightforward on himself. He is not a horse that desires to over-train. He simply sort of goes alongside and does what’s requested. He is not tremendous aggressive. I feel on this Triple Crown path, that is one thing Important High quality taught me – you sort of must have a horse that does not need to overdo it on a regular basis. It is a lengthy, grueling, powerful highway to get down.”
